Blueberry Fields Community Garden has been making great progress throughout the summer. While the rain slowed us down to start the season, it has certainly helped each of the plants grow and provide a large harvest.
We’ve grown tons of fruits, veggies, and herbs to date. Midway through July we had a great group of volunteers from Canadian Tire Financial come out to help us with harvesting, weeding, and more planting. A special thank you goes out to each and every one of our Volunteers that have helped throughout the season!
Earlier this week we had a huge harvest. Plenty of potatoes, onions, cucumbers, zucchini, peppers, watermelon, herbs and more have been harvested for Home Suite Hope. Check out the latest Gallery for recent pictures of the harvest!
As always, any and all help with the community garden is welcome and appreciated. We still need ongoing help with weeding, harvesting, and distribution.
