On July 14 and July 17th, our volunteers picked more than 88 Kg of potatoes, 11 cabbages, 4 boxes of romaine, 2 boxes of spring onions, 1 box of garlic, green beans, wax beans, rhubarb and zuccini. The fresh produce was delivered to The Kerr Street Mission in Oakville for distribution.
We can socially distance (mother and daughter excluded) while helping out in the garden. This year the number of volunteers per session will be limited to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.
